Hello and welcome to The Back to Work Coach!

Are you here because you:

  • want to get back to work but are struggling with 'Mum/Dad Guilt' and that doubting, internal voice asking 'can I really do this?'

  • are feeling exhausted from juggling everything you need to fit into the day and can't seem to find any time for yourself?

  • are feeling torn between work and family commitments and worried you're not fully succeeding at either?

  • are worried about establishing credibility with your workmates after your parental leave and are unsure how to negotiate work circumstances that will support your needs as a parent?

  • employ parents in your organisation and are looking for ways to support them in being their best at work and at home?

Whatever you answered, we have good news for you.  If any or all of the above apply, you're in the right place.

Rebekah Fraser

I'm Rebekah Fraser, the founder of The Back to Work Coach, and it's my passion to support parents to successfully navigate their transition back to work after parental leave or a period of time out of the workplace raising kids.

After earning a Master's degree in Psychology, working as a coach for over 15 years, and becoming a mum myself, I started this business to help parents balance work and life commitments with more confidence, clarity and calm.

At The Back to Work Coach we offer one-on-one and group coaching programmes tailored to address the specific needs of parents returning to work.

Rebekah is insightful. She has a strong intuitive sense of when to push you further about your thinking on a matter and when to hold back and let you reach your own conclusions.

What's it really like for a mum returning back to work?

In this video, the founder of The Back to Work Coach, Rebekah Fraser, and her husband engage in a refreshingly honest, down-to-earth discussion about what the transition was really like for them and their family when Rebekah returned to work after parental leave.

You can also listen to an interview with Rebekah on the Private Practice Secrets Podcast.

Coaching with Rebekah helped me to see that I was relevant, and helped me to cultivate the courage to move forward. The sessions challenged me to face my doubts and gave me the tools to enable me to clearly focus on what I really wanted and how to go and achieve that. I also found that the mindset I had slipped into altered to become more self-assured and proactive.

With a newly gained sense of self-confidence and assertiveness, I used these tools and got my ideal job. Rebekah’s skill and experience, seasoned with empathy and candour, gained me a result I could never have dreamed of otherwise. She has kick-started a new beginning for me and my family, and for that, I am extremely grateful.

On a More Personal Note

I live in Hobsonville, Auckland along with my husband, Mark, and our daughter, Libby.  I love to keep fit and recently participated in a charity boxing match to raise money for The Key To Life Charitable Trust. Each year I take on a physical challenge and this year I am committed to completing the Xterra Trail Series.

My most recent overseas adventure was a trip to Cambodia where I provided pro-bono coaching to a social enterprise start-up.

Because giving back is so important to me, I've incorporated it into my business as well.  Each year I invite applications from the local community for The Back to Work Coach Sisterhood Scholarship, a 12-week life coaching program awarded to a local mum in need of support in order to return to the workforce.

I'm excited you're here and hope to hear from you soon!

Warmly,
     Rebekah

About The Back to Work Coach

About The Back to Work Coach

The Back To Work Coach supports parents wanting to return to the workforce - either at the end of their parental leave or after a period of time out of the workforce as the primary carer for their kid(s) - as well as the organisations they work for.

Our Back To Work Coaching Programs are designed to address the issues most relevant and meaningful to the individual parents we work with. We work together to identify the key challenges for that mum or dad and support them to design a plan to overcome and / or manage these. Parents may choose to work one-on-one with a coach or as part of a coaching group sharing knowledge and ideas with each other, as well as supporting each other, not only during the coaching journey, but also once they are back at work.

The Back To Work Coach also provides best practice support for organisations understanding the value of supporting their staff while on parental leave. Getting the right supports in place before, during and after parental leave will reduce the loss of talent from the workplace, reduce recruitment and staff turnover costs, build loyalty, and reinforce all the inclusive elements of the culture leaders have worked so hard to establish.

Our Mission
