SERVICES FOR ORGANISATIONS
1:1 Corporate Coaching Program
Employees rate parental leave as the most challenging moment in the employee experience lifecycle and the second least supported moment, with offboarding before the first (Enboarder).
Rather than risk losing these talented and experienced women, proactive organisations are using this leave time to maintain and even strengthen the employment relationship and ensure a smooth and supportive transition back to work.
The Back To Work Coach assists organisations in their support and ongoing engagement of returning mums and dads with our 1:1 Back To Work Corporate Coaching Program.
This specialised program includes:
Up to 8 x 1-hour sessions over a 12-15 month period
Unlimited email support
The option of either face-to-face or virtual sessions
A complimentary meeting with coachee and their manager / program sponsor with regards to reporting on coaching outcomes.
The program covers the following three phases of a parent's transition:
Before Parental Leave (recommend 1 session):
Preparing for meetings with your manager / HR staff, i.e.
What do you want / need to know about Parental Leave and flexible work options and policies
Preparing to handover your role before your leave begins
Type and frequency of communication while away
Use of 'Keeping In Touch' hours
During Parental Leave (3-4 sessions):
Defining your ideal home and work circumstances
Identifying your best-fit childcare solution and back-up plans
Understanding how to ask for what you need at home and at work
Developing negotiation, delegation and time management skills
Creating strategies to overcome guilt and build self-confidence
Establishing sustainable and fulfilling self-care routines
Creating a transition plan for returning to work
After Parental Leave (3-4 sessions):
Fine tuning your transition
Dealing with unexpected challenges
Sanity checking your plan’s sustainability
Getting the right supports in place before, during and after parental leave will reduce the loss of talent from the workplace, reduce recruitment and staff turnover costs, build loyalty, and reinforce all the inclusive elements of your culture you have worked so hard to establish. You will be rewarded with a workforce full of people - working-parents included - who recognise they are valued and who know they are supported in all phases of their life.
